Here is my issue... last season I was an idiot and wiped the inside of my lens when it was wet. I smudged the anti fog stuff. So Last night I thought if I tried I would be able to get it wet again and them totally wipe the anti fog stuff off. False. Now my lens is impossible to see through. Does anyone have a solution? :) Thanks for any advice. Unless that advice is search bar. In which case I hate you.
there is a thing called cat crap that works well to keep goggles from fogging, never used it on ski goggles just on like swimming ones so i'm not sure how it would work. Also, I want to know how to unfog your goggles without whiping the lens.
take it out of the frames and leave it to dry for a couple of days. even after wiping the inside of my crowbar lens the anti fog still worked great. in 3 seasons with the same crowbar lenses (black irid, HI yellow) the only problem i've ever had i just encountered recently, the dreaded fog between the lenses.
there is no way to fix it, i had the same problem. Oakley could care less too it is kind of lame.
I just took the lens out of the frame and then removed the inner lens and the foamtape they use to attach it. I re-attached the foam over the lens air vents and it's good to go. I never have fog issues and if i do i can wipe it without worry.
they're shot. the anti fog is a part of the lens itself, not just a coating. no fix, and its user damage, not a fault of oakley's, so you're not getting any replacement. Buy a new lens, and next time you get snow in the goggles, just shake them out, take 'em to the lodge and throw them under a blow dryer. just as a rule, never touch the inner lens of your goggles. hopefully that helps for the future.
