Cannon GL2

okay heres the deal with buying really nice shit for super cheap: you're likely to get ripped off. if you look on ebay you can find dealers out of new york that will sell you the camera for cheaper - and they'll give you a whole bunch of shit like a fisheye lens and tripod and lens cleaners and doo dads and the list goes on forever. great right? not great. they usually send you the camera, and thats it. that means you save money but you gotta buy all the connector cords and batteries and batter pocket cover and shit like that. it adds up and you end up right where you would have started if you bought it for full price. not to mention a lot of these companies are sketchy and i wouldn't put it past them to give you factory seconds - something that you don't want when its a GL2. the other thing is, a lot of legit camera shops may offer a good warranty - something worth having. you're going to save money if you buy it for cheap but theres a stronger likelyhood that something could go wrong and then you loose more than you ended up saving in the first place. think about it at least. i bought my gl2 full price but i know i don't have to worry about shit going wrong - which in my opinion is worth it.
