I am just wondering the general public opinion on parking lot hit and runs. Is it okay if it's just a fender bender? Should they leave a note? This happened to one of my buddies but the person didn't leave a note. What do you think?
so you mean that you hit a car with your parents and are trying to justify yourself online? haha jk im fucking with you, hit and runs are bullshit... stick around for a half hour see if the unlucky victim comes out or leave a note with your number, honesty is definitely the best path.. Karma will fuck you if you leave it alone it will fuck you long and hard.
Of course you leave a not, whether it's a big dent or a little scratch.
I accidentally hit a parked car backing out one, put a nice little dent in it. Left a note, got a call the next day and the person told me to not worry about it. Didn't have to pay a thing, Karma.
if this happened and i found out who did it, it'd be bad news for em.
somebody shot out a window in my truck, if i ever find out who did it, its not gonna be good.
ou dont just fuck with somebodies car, if you dont leave a note you pretty much deserve to have your children die, get left by your wife and maybe get hit by a bus or something.
i was at the mountain one day with my parents and some chicken fucker had his snowboard leaned on his car and it fell over on to our car and it scrapped a huge piece of paint off. we saw it happen and our car was pretty old anyway so we didnt say anything but he tried to act like it didnt happen. if i ever hit someone and i had the time, i'd definitely stick around because face to face confrontations are definitely better, notes are okay too if your in a hurry. karma will get you
Well, once I hit a car in a parking lot and we got the cops involved but technically since parking lots are privately owned you can't technically get in trouble, or at least thats what the cop told me. Or something like that idk.
My senior year in high school my assigned parking spot was right next to the biggest meat head ever. This kid DESPISED me. I drove a dark blue Volvo station wagon and he drove a white Toyota Corolla. We had the narrowest parking spaces ever and I was always super careful backing out not to hit his rear bumper with the front of my car when turning into the aisle. Well one day I was in a rush and pulled out quick and scuffed his bumper leaving a nice large blue mark. I could just picture this kid coming out of the weight room half an hour later all jacked up on muscle milk and ripping my face off so I hopped out of my car really quick and rubbed off as much of the blue paint as possible. I drove home and hoped for the best. It turns out the next day the kid totaled his car and I got off scott-free. End of story
my personal favorite is when you come outside and your door has a nice dent right in the center and some foreign paint because someone just whipped their door open.
Charmander, you value your truck more than kangbang does his jibberish, and his vest. I'm sure you'd make a trip across two countries just to shoot a man that put a scratch in your truck.
Just kidding, none the less always post a note or something about it. I'd be pissed if i went out to my car and found something like that and not a have clue what happened. As earlier mention Karma can bite back. Hard.
I can remember so many people telling me stories of how they did or how they knew someone who did a hit and run. def. not cool though and yah, leaving a note would be my option, fuck waiting
I hit a car in a parking lot this year. Left a note, had to shell out $2g because it was a plastic piece of junk yaris. During this whole process, someone hit me and left a way bigger dent, no note. Seriously pissed me off to the point where I might consider driving away if it ever happened again.
I got my entire stereo system stolen this summer along with all my stuff (added up to like 4g) and now this dent plus fixing the other guys scratch.
Basically I am broke as shit with a dented truck because I did the right thing, but others didn't.
My friend accidently hit a car in the parking lot and tore off the mirror. She left anyways and the person whose car it was looked at the videos of the stores security cameras and the next day she was charged with hit and run. always leave a note, its not worth leaving
If someone hit my car and ran, I'd use my ninja skills to follow the trail of exhaust fumes back to their house, then I'd eat their face with an ice cream scoop.
somebody did about 4000 bucks worth of damage to my car in my college parking lot my freshman year.. i went to the police and filed a report and stuff but they said the cameras were only live view and they didnt record so they never caught the guy.. i was quite pissed. anyway.. i think if you barely tap a car pulling into a spot and there is no damage or anything you are ok but if u do any damage i would wait around for a while and then leave a note... of if its at a store or something you could go inside and tell someone the license plate number so they can announce for that person to come talk to you or whatever
