Glidecam Balance Help

So i got a glidecam 2000 pro yesterday for my t2i finally, and have been trying to balance it for many hours already and it just wont seem to get perfectly balanced. I was only able to get the vertical test to work with 1 weight on each side, yet when i pick it up it is basically balanced then once i start walking with it, it begins to rock in all directions.

any advice from anyone who uses a glidecam with their t2i or just a glidecam in general.

It's going to move a little while you walk, you need to control it with your other hand. If its pretty radical movement, make sure the pole is out as far as it can go (leave a few inches inside because the plastic clamp is weak). Make sure the forward/backward is balanced and you should be good.

I honestly think you have it balanced but its just really light and you need to control it, its not just gonna stay balanced without you telling it to.

like eheath said, you have to control the main pole with your other hand and just keep a light touch on it. Extend the main pole as much as possible, it really helps with the center of gravity.
