every sport has these arguments and im sick of it in skiing. in skating there are guys like mike mo or daewon song who are super tech and skate ledges and do manuals. the there are guys like andrew reynolds who skate big stairs sets. like someone already said in surfing there are guys who ride small waves and guys who surf the huge waves and get "barreled". in most "sporty" sports there are different posistions and you cant compare the quarterback to the linebacker. so in skiing we shouldnt compare backcountry and big mountain guys like candide and sammy c. with tom. the freeskier poll isnt the best setup but if you are going to hate vote in the powder magazine poll where you pick out of all the skiers on the list. the point of a poll is to see who the people's favorite is. so dont tell people who they should vote for just cause thats who you like. and if anyone cares i voted for wallisch in every round.
