I went into this movie knowing two things about THall.
Great skier that co-owns Armada.
Chads Gap.

I was expecting a documentary about the early life of Tanner, the progression of the sport, and some sick footage. So I could get pumped for the season.
I got all of this.

Holy shit, this is actually a gut wrencher.
I don't want to spoil anything, and I'm probably late on this anyway.. Just watch this movie.

I know most of you are skiers, but I would recommend this to anyone.
Second most emotional documentary I've ever seen, first being Dear Zachary, which I also recommend to anyone.

This movie is top fucking notch.

agreed, for the most part, But I would love to see a well done look-back/documentary on either CR or Shane. Something that celebrates their lives, and shows what great energy they had.

Got this for Xmas.

It was really nice to learn a lot more about Tanner. I found the parts when CR was in hospital and when his death was announced on it, really moving.

Soundtrack is awesome.


One of the best ski related movies I've seen this year.

so great. i bought it and have watched quite a few times, but if im getting ready to go skiing then its not the one i watch, its more of an after skiing evening movie

i think having the story of CR and tanner as such a big part of the movie brought CR's death to a whole new light

Starting to understand the phrase "Inspired." Been on repeat for the past two days. I was just blown away. Now that I think about it I'm going to go watch it right now before i ski tomorrow

got it on itunes.
i liked it a lot more than i thought it would. really went in depth to what not only pro skiers but people in general have to experience. the fact that not everyone is perfect and that everyone goes through some of the stuff he did. great movie overall that i would recommend to anyone who skis or enjoys stories of miraculous recovery over something life-changing.

i learned so much about tanner, i had no idea he was into pain meds, and i assumed but didn't know for sure about the drinking. made me realize that i never really payed attention to him.

I thought it was really sweet that they had old footage to prove/backup everything they said. I also didn't understand the extent to CR's first injury before this movie. Great movie...

I guess it depends on your perspective though.  I feel like this is exactly the mindset to be in when you ski.  C.R. had it right...skiing is a gift every day.  This is a great reminder of how much we should enjoy skiing!.

I really liked this movie it was super inspiring. Seeing Iberg and Tanner cry talking about CR was a really gut wrenching moment. I lost one of my best friends this past year so I kinda knew how they felt so that was a really tough moment. Great movie for anyone whether they ski or not.

just bought it off iTunes have 73 minuetes left on the download. i am not expecting amazing ski footage out of this one but hopefully the inspired movie for next year has T killing it like usual.
