So I'm 12 and i ski park and quite a bit of backcountry and I have been looking at the bentchetler and jj's. Im 5'3 and i ski very aggressive but the only problem is the bents and jjs only come in 185 or 175 do you think I could pull it off with a jj 175 cm or do you guys have any recmeditions for skis and I dont want kids pow skis cause they are not thick enough or don't have a rocker
check out some womens' pow skis. they generally have good dimensions but a shorter length and a softer flex. you also want to account for the fact that in about 2 years you're gonna be 6 inches taller and growing
A 176 will be way too tall for you even if it is a pow ski. You should look at the Line EP pro shorty, it is the exact same as the normal version but it comes in a 145 and a 155 (id say get between a 155 and 165 if i were you). If you want longer the LIne sir francis comes in a 162. Hope that helps!
how much do u weigh? because if you are heavy enough and ski like you say you do you may be able to go with the jj's, because in a few years if you grow a little and are say 5'5'' or 5'6'' your gonna want at least a 175, im 5'6'' and im thinkin like 178 to 182 for my pow skis and i know people who are 5'6'' and kill it on ep's(185), just a thought
Our local shop owners kid was given a pair of Armada JJ's (175) and he's 12! You can rock them, and you'll be able to keep them for awhile as well!! The JJ's ski very short!
