2010 Thanksgiving Thankful Thread

title says it all post what you are thankful for this Thanksgiving season. Or if you don't celebrate the holiday its a good chance to look and see what you are thankful for.

I myself am thankful to be able have a meal every day, for a roof over my head and bed to sleep in. As well as that my resort opening up thanksgiving day. Being able to have a job that i can go to work and make a decent amount of money. As well as my friends and family that i have.

that i'm not bleeding on the street- ghetto life is a bitch, i'm thankful that i don't have to deal with it

and that i have new skis, and my mountain opens in only 17 days, and that i got 5 A's and only 2 B's this quarter

thankful that i will get to ski alot this year b.c. of my college schedule.
thankful for my wonderful boyfriend and family.
thankful that i love where i live and i can hike and ski and do all sorts of things.

Quit your bitching, working for bogus is a legit job, free employee bus to and from the mountain even on days you're not working, 50% off food, 2 Free Passes. Plus you get paid to ski.

im thankful for all the opportunity i've had in my life. i couldn't really ask for more than be able to do the things i like - and the things that i choose to do, myself - with the people i love.

i'm also very thankful that i've been in good health. my life hasn't had any limitations because of unfortunate problems or illnesses that are out of my control.

My greatest friend got hit head on by a drunk driver tonight, and this is his status

This thanksgiving is the one i will be most thankful for. Today a drunk driver swerved into my lane and hit me head on going 50+ mph. She could have easily taken my life but i just suffered a broken wrist and minor cuts and scrapes. I can now truly say I have seen my life flash before my eyes. Im thankful for all the kind witnesses who offered me use of their phone (my battery got lost in the crash) and backed up my story to the cops. Im thankful for the kind firemen who helped me contact my family and drove me to the hospital. Im thankful for the nurses and doctors for taking care of me. But most importantly, im thankful for my family for being with me and supporting me. My car is totaled, I cant work for a few weeks, and school will be tough. But at least i still have my life. I will never take life for granted anymore as one idiot can snatch it from you in seconds.
