Seems like he just took a bunch of random made up facts from uncredited blogs and forums and compiled them into his bs website.

There are some serious misconceptions in here...

First of all North Korea is not a communist country. It is impossible for a real communist country to have a authoritarian figurehead. If you don't know what I am talking about read the actual communist manifesto instead of swallowing some haggard definition from the 60's when it was a fashionably aligning term. Hell it still is today. I'm not arguing for the implementation of communism in any way, just clarifying since someone said they sympathize with China because they are communist.

Also, this is just a media's wet dream for the most part. Even though there is some element of drama to it, it is quite evident that neither side wants an all out war. The South doesn't want its economy and infrastructure that they have prided themselves on destroyed and the North Korean people are extremely malnourished. Even though they have a million man army, they do not have the supplies for an extensive war...they know this. This is simply North Korea's way of staying aggressive and trying to maintain their footing as a regional power. They are still extremely upset (almost rightfully so) at the actions taken against them during the 1950's and this is where their hatred of the US stems from.

So before you make any ridiculous assertions like have been made in this thread I urge you to read something about the Korean war and its aftermath. Stop swallowing the axis of evil condemnation and realize that the world is not a movie. The world isn't "good" and "evil".

Whether or not this escalates into something more serious now, eventually it will. The North has to create conflict with the South in order to legitimize its massive military and military programs, in a country where people cannot even eat, this shit will just keep on happening until force is used.

if shit does hit the fan then china who is north koreas key ally and us with the south. if a all out war breaks loose we will have to back up south and chinas gonna back up the north. and that means china and the US will over power the two smaller countrys and maybe a new world war will start.....great

yea exactly. The soviets used to roll out all their shit on parade on a semi-regular basis and it was intimidating. Come 1991, we found out half the missiles and vehicles they showed off were made out of wood. Always thought that launching an attack during such a parade would be the key to devastating a country's forces in minutes.

the aircraft carrier group we're sending over there is the political equivalent of casually pulling out a gun, while some guy tries to talk shit to you. It's not a direct sign of violence, but more just the US making them think about what they're doing. It's our way of saying "Oh, I'm sorry...were you talking just now? We were busy polishing the missiles on the planes and didn't hear what you said."

South Korea vows retaliation.

I wonder who would win head to head, north or south. The north has a large standing force, but the south has a much larger civilian population to recruit from. The north has a huge liability that would render their 1/4th country obsolete if destroyed, the barrage. The south also has a lot of well trained marines. Shit would be violent regardless.

Actually, there is more chances of China doing nothing and staying neutral than backing North Korea.

I'm pretty sure the bombing was just an other provocation from the North to put pressure on the international community and have them supply its population with food.

North Koreans are dying from starvation and the only way for the country to deal with it is to ask for food supply in exchange of different set of actions. Like reducing its Nuclear program or reducing its active military. They've done it before and they're doing it now.
Not so long ago, a US expert went to NK to check on the Nuclear program and Kim Jong Il proudly showed them his new nuclear site although he wasn't allowed to conduct any of those research. He just does it to have an exchange power against food and economic supply.

"You want us to stop advancing our nuclear research? Give us some food"
"You want us to stop attacking South Korea? Give us some food"
"You don't want any WWIII ? Give us some food"

So yeah, it's just an other provocation from the North to get what they want.. They've done it for years and they'll continue.

Going through North Korea with the help of google earth is interesting. You can see a bunch of things such as military infrastructures.
I found this download that allows you to easily spot interesting areas of NK. You need google earth to view the download.
If you guys don't want to download it, you can check it out on youtube. Some guy makes a little analysis of North Korea.

Kim Jong Il doesn't seem to realize that if he takes any action, his little country will be annihilated, most likely without using nuclear weapons. (just to be sure we don't piss off russia or china) It's not as if we don't have the equipment and capability to fly a thousand bombers over his country and drop an immense number of extremely deadly bombs.

i liked the part where before he was about to leave the cementary he spat on the ground. not to mention his child soldier rehab center way off where no one can see whats going on. did they say at the end the UN is pulling out soon and that the area could slip back to where it was before and that time will tell if Gen. BN keeps to his faith..
