What Wax Scraper and Brush

Which ones do you guys think are the best Scrapers and brushers but i just want one that will have strong nice materials that wont crack or break and with the scraper i pretty much want the same quality as i want from the scraper as i want on the brush im not on a budget.
So far swix is looking like the best quality so far

And yes i know it really doesnt matter how nice the scraper and brush is

scraper doesnt matter, get the cheapest one you can find. i would go with an svst oval brush if budget isnt a problem

scrapers do make a diff, a cheaper on will tend to flex more, meaning you will be missing spots of wax on the ski. Make sure they are nice and ridgid. As for brushes SVST makes nice ones, but they tend to be $$$. Swix makes cheaper smaller brushes, look for a hybrid bristle brush.

I hope you are kidding. You want to brush from tip to tail to shape the wax with the groves on the base of the ski, not wax it like its a car....

ok never mind, just look it up and wasn't what I was expecting. my bad. Although kinda expensive, and unnecessary.

i just bought a toko plastic scraper for like 4 bucks. i bought a nylon brush from fred meyers for 3 or 4 dollars to use after scraping.

swix and sidecut both make pretty solid scrapers. sidecut makes probably the best hybrid brush out there

toko half/half brush works ok and scrapers are fine as well, if budget is no problem, get a plexi sharpener as well, makes scraping so much easier !


Threadjack, anyone with a rotobrush, how much did you pay for brush + handle bit ?

rotobrushes are sweet, IF you are waxing a shit load of skis. For your own pair or two, its kinda overkill. Hand brushing gets you a better finished product and only takes a tad longer.
