looking at them bigger the jump ones look are blurry.
I can't tell if they are OOF, or motion blur, any insight?

they were shot at around f16-20 and 250 shutter speed with a flash from the left

help with this would be appreciated

i haven't worked with flashes much, i'm just learning

Why in the name of anyone would you want to shoot at f.22 while using flashes outdoors in daylight? They are motion blurred, you can tell that by looking at them. You need a higher shutter speed.

First set.
1) Whatever the hell that is above him isn't interesting enough to make up for the on board flash  that appears to be pointed at his shin.
2&3) Hes too dark and fights for attention amongst the light trails and the thing above him. He needs to be lighter. Also the wobble in light trail kind of bothers me. And the fact that its almost center but not really. #3 is probably the strongest of the set since he is brighter, and not fighting for attention admist the colors.

Really weak angle, and the flash is doing absolutely nothing for you besides giving you uneven lighting. I know you said you are new so let me lay this out for you. Using flashes/strobes, the shutter speed (as long as its under your sync {ususally around 1/200th of a second}) the shutter speed will not affect your flash exposure. The aperture controls the your flash exposure. So if you are shotting something at ISO 100 f/8 at 250 then ISO 200 f/8 at 1/125th (same exposure) they will look the exact same. If you shoot at f/8 250th then f/5.6 at 500th (same exposure) what ever is lit will look brighter. So shooting at f/22 will force you to shoot the flash off at full power and you will get little effect.
The only thing shooting at f/22 for the set did, was drain your flash and show us you have a dirty sensor. Get a better angle (lower?) / Find a better way to include the jeep so its not as boring / Get your shadow out of the shot.
