Shop set my din at 7 but i think its too high for my toe peice
From my experience shops set the din's lower or as high as they can legally set them. Meaning they can get sued if they set them to high and you hurt yourself. I have always taken my skis from the shop and risen the din by 1 or 2 every time.
Also we will need your:
Height:
Age:
Weight:
Skier ability:
What you plan to ski:
etc. etc.
try lubrication the your toe piece with the manufactured recommended lubricant but only if its old, if its new... try going back to your shop and changing your skier type for a different din
yeah, i dont know about your shop but we have a machine called a Huber machine which mimics the boot being pulled out of the binding as if you were in it (your height, weight, skier ability) and it will find the exact settings for you.
