BUMP for some sad news. Sounds like they are planning on dialing back A51 for the next few years because of the crowd it is attracting...Basically they want a family resort and instead of families visiting you have a bunch of gypsy shredbros bonking every tree and sign in sight. I've kinda been wondering when this would happen, and apparantly now is the time. Rumor has it Jason George the park manager is going to Copper next year. Thoughts?

But if this is true CMC and Ski area Operations program just got fucking insane and im beyond stoked for this to happen Coppers working grounds and he will bring so much to Copper thats going to be crazyyy

shitty, apparently beaver creek did the same thing a few years back, cause the park was too 'intimidating'. now the park is pretty shitty. i was told it was one of the best parks in the area

Beaver got rid of the Log Yard due too much park traffic at the mid lodge/station area. First year without it and it was probably one of the more popular parts of its park. Beaver's fun, those guys do what they can with they have.

thats the A-51 facebook page, im the one who posted yesterday asking about the rumors, Nick, the kid that answered me, has been on the park crew for a few years.

"Appearently Vail Resorts doesn't want Keystone to be the best Terrain Park they can be. Become #1 in the world and they want you to scale back!."

heard more about it today from some inside sources, sounds like they want to downsize the park by as much as % 50 basically making it a bigger version of the Incubator mini park.

keystone's park manager is going to copper next year, not a rumor. I do not believe that keystone will be dialing down the park though. I would still expect to see a dope park down at A 51. Its hard to believe that keystone wont get another amazing park manager, after all it is one of the best parks in the nation
