It's used to refresh your page, and send it to the top. Anytime somebody reply's to your thread it does this, so technically I just bumped my own thread explaining this to you.

once you make a thread and you or someone else posts in it, it will bring your thread to the fron page of that forum you made your thread in.

once you spend a couple weeks on this site and sorta feel for the sections of it and begin to understand the terms people use like bump witch people use for a general term to bring the thread to the first page where people look and also for the creator of the thread called the "OP" will (bump) their thread meaning Buy Up My Product to encurage potential buyers to take a good look at the "OP's" item.

since you are new on here i would encurage you from not making a thread until you get a decent understanding on witch forum your thread will be located in such as sell/trade, want to buy, site discustions,ski-gabber...

most likly you will be hated on by some douchbag on this site for the slightest thing you post. dont let this discourage you from visiting this site again. we are a ski comunity and some skiers are d-bags but most are actually pretty cool on here.

you will learn a lot about sking on this site and if you have questions, ask. there are very good and helpfull people that would love to help you out with anything.

i hope you have as much fun as everyone else does on this site.

hope you got a little bit of insite to be a contributing member on this site. ENJOY!

i'll give you a bump because i feel that these prices are really high, even if you did just lower em. i mean they're nice shirts, but they're used. i could go to zumiez or marshalls and get LRG shirts for quite cheap.
