i just hope the production is dope. you can't put big l rhymes over new producers beats-it has to be the grimy, jazzy, lo-fi type stuff from the 90s...i don't see it working too well otherwise.

theres no date set yet, but they say their almost done. they have 10 hours of footage and interviews to edit from big daddy kane, eminem, jay-z, rakim, and everyone inbetween.

I have the album. It's pretty tight. I've heard a bunch of the stuff on there already though. Some of the songs are just remixes from The Big Picture.

on second thought i read that a good chunk of the album is just recycled verses over some new beats. that being said there are supposed to be some new songs so i might still pick it up, still thinking

Ok found a download link. I must say, For a huge fan like myself Its disappointing. 95% of the verses are recycled, they are putting new names and trash beats on old verses and then releasing cds and making stacks off of it.

Sad really.

I'm right here with you. I'd almost rather listen to the acapellas than hear Big L's flow ruined by beats that were made 15 years after the lyrics were recorded. Totally disrupts the feel. Now if it had been Beatminerz, Diamond D, or Buckwild beats I would dig it, but its kinda bland otherwise.
