i'm going to go out on a limb and ask if you are asking this because you saw Get Him to the Greek? i've drank absinthe and i only got more drunk... it was on the 4th of july and there were lots of fireworks but nothing seriously out of the ordinary.

when you drink good absinthe with a high thujone content it will be a very "trippy drunk" state. you dont hallucinate. I think it tastes awesome, but a lot of people dont like it
