i say congrats to rolland, i really liked his switch landings. i think this competition format is pretty interesting to see. albeit two runs might improve it. but i think its cool to have a contest that forces the athletes to be really comfortable or confident about the tricks they are trying to do. i would hate to compete in it, it would be so stressful to put everything onto one trick. nevertheless i think its interesting to see how athletes react to that kind of pressure.

I know it sucks that casabons style can't win and the dub's take out everything but this has been going on forever. I remember laurent favres styleee switch 7's at us open one year and he couldn't win because tj did a switch 1440. it's always been spin to win, technical always seems to trump style, I don't think that's ever going to change.

Yeah I tend to agree, except after seeing revolver I've come around to bene mayr's style in a HUGE way. Sure, he only really has one grab (that tweaked out japan/LK thing he does on pretty much every inverted trick he does haha), but he has a ton of style. He definitely deserves to be up towards the top in my opinion.

Otherwise though... I agree 100%

I love skiing, it's fun, I went to public school, I'm not rich, I'm not a comp skier, and I will never be half as good as him. BUT I also didnt beat some of the best skiers in the world with a shitty wackflip... I don't get your point
