agreed. he won x-games gold and still didn't get that much credit. seems like a humble guy who may not have had the best tricks, but with a little (or lot) bit of luck he fairly won KOS

your retarted if you dont see that casabon is the only one doing different stuff than dub 10/12 mute.... its king of style. Style means being different from others, having your own style..... if bobby, andreas, elias..... all wore the same suit, I would not be able to tell the differences

Bottom line is the contest shouldn't be a single run format, especially in the final round. The rider who goes first is automatically at a disadvantage because they HAVE to throw their best trick, while rider number two can simply flat air and land clean IF rider one should happen to fall.

I absolutely agree with you saying the format is bullshit but I don't see why people are hating on Kevin, he still through down some sick shit. The one run format is bullshit but at the end of the day Kevin landed something. They're professional athletes and they know what they need to do to win. But yes the one run format is bullshit.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. He didn't just through a flat three. He did other things in his qualifying runs. Please, before you make stupid fucking opinions and assumptions find out what else he did. A shit flat three is still better than not landing anything.

WOW! Andreas STOMPED the hell out of his first 2 dubs.

Also ambuhls one hit was BANGER.


After watching the video i have concluded the only thing wrong with this competition was the format. The Fromat was just whack as shit which is why the backflip won.

Don't hate the skiers though. I'm sure any of them would have done what kevin did... It's just logical.

Kevin wins his first 2 jumps with some pretty awsome stomped dub 12's.
Kevin deserved to win both of them.

In the 3rd jump kevin land's backseat on a double 10, but Håtveit falls on a dub 12.
Kevin deserve to win.

Sure, the final was maybe not the best, but Rolland earned that gold fair and square!

Can't you understand what this guy is trying to say? Kevin didn't just do a flat 3.Your getting so carried away by this 'flat three hate band wagon' that your oblivious to see the things he did in his qualifying. Rolland landed his run the other person didn't. Its pretty bloody clear that the Kevin Rolland deserved the win. If you can't see that then you need to get your head checked.

No Kevin Rolland did not deserved the win. He got to throw an easy trick just because he got to jump second.  I promise you a further evaluation of his skills in future competitions will prove that he is a shitty big air skier.  If he wins once in any legitimate competition, I will concede the argument to you, but right now, all I know is that he can't even do a decent flat 3.

He isn't a better big-air skier than any other skier in the competition.  There were skiers that didn't qualify who are better than him.  At least ten other skiers there were better than him; that's why he didn't deserve the win.

Get a grip. Go watch some of the followustv episodes and you will see that he can do some of the nicest flat 3s in the game.

You ever stop to think that maybe if you've been doing double 12s all night, it might be just a little bit tricky to know the perfect rotation speed to set for a flat 3 on the same jump, the first time you do it?

Each big air should have a one trick comp voted by the community.
Let's say KOS is a comp of truck driver, freestyle.ch a dub comp,London a cork3
anyway the tricks readers would vote. Now i think we forget about amplitude , landing,
how long the grab was hold etc

You do understand how boring a Cork 360 competition would be for most of the spectators, let alone a lot of skiers and boarders! What "readers" or "community"? These events are held to showcase action sports and the products that are necessary or go well with these sports.

JOI already had a Best Zero, Best 180, Best 360 etc. but organizing an entire city competition around one trick would be pretty inane. ...heh, pretty ironic to say as most tricks end up being double corks anyway.
