their facebook page is really helpful, they are super good about updating it and what not.

but the weekend looks fun, a little jump line up top, more jibs, getting rid of most of boxzilla, and the bigger jump line.. step down, table, table, step up.. im stoked

Yeah, sure, but canyons park will never be "superior" to PCs park. Maybe in your opinion it would be fun, but PC will always have more park, bigger jumps and better rails (to a point).

jump line was siiiiiiick!!

first one was suuuper nice, kinda hard to get speed for the last one sometimes but still had a good time on all of it! now they gotta just take down boxzilla and spread those features around!

Classic case of over-estimating jump sizes, but they are still dope. Perfect lips, and big enough to do some tricks. First 3 are sick if you ask me, I think the 4th should just be replaced with an up rail or something.

i actually take that back, multiple people who ive skied with who have pc and canyons passes lately have been saying that canyons park is way more fun right now. i havent been to pc yet this season but canyons new jump line its lots of fun right now, way stoked on something the canyons has done for the first time this season.

People can how much fun they have at one place, it doesn't mean someone else will. PCs park will always be better, maybe less fun or more fun to others it will always be subjective. But on paper, PCs park will always be better,

On paper doesnt matter. Skiing is for self-enjoyment, opinion is everything.

Canyons is so sick right now. Jib setup could be a little better imo but it is still great right now and the Jumps are way nice.

Well everyone, Tuesday was interesting for me:

Got up there around 9:30. Things were going smoothly, lips were great on the jump line and I was dialing in some new grabs on my 3's, 5's, and 7's. Stoked.

Get to feeling like the 4th would be perfect to get some nice floater fronty's. Throw one. Get props from the chair. Stoked.

Next run. Safety 7. Mute 5. Weird grab cab 1, going a little too fast and land pretty far down the landing. Feel the bang in my boots but figure I'm alright on speed to hit the last one anyway. Come up to the fourth lip. Throw the fronty. Come around and extend my legs to touchdown, but find that I'm still 10 feet off the ground. Oh eff. Tips hit the ground first, then my chest and left hand. Left hand leaves a bomb hole in the landing literally big enough to fit a football in. Instantly feel a pain in my side and start having trouble breathing. Not stoked.

Outcome: Two broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and a severely sprained thumb. I'll be back in no time.

That comp course was money. Props to the canyons park crew for putting that on and letting us use it to compete. Those jumps are fun despite the fact that I overshot the 2nd one twice. I think I bruised my shin muscles...

2nd one is gnar... when friends and I go up it is usually like straight straight air on the first two and 7 / 5 or 3's on the last two... but we havent hit them with the double lip setup but it hasnt look like much has changed. I was getting way excited seeing the comp going during the day going up on saddleback. Just wish the big jumps would have opened before the day was over.

Everyone I ride with is so stoked for when they finish the blowing of snow. I'm super pumped for when there is a consistant groomed setup... I really wish the first 3 jumps were a little longer and had better landings. The last of the top 3 looks so sketch, such a short landing and big lip... prolly why it was closed today.

Overall the park is gonna be so effing sick iin the next 2 weeks, it already flows really well and can only get better.
