can dogs smell em?
like if i bring a brownie on my plane home for break and munch on it at the gate am i gonna get mauled?

Just either it it before security, or put them in your checked luggage. Thats what i did and it worked for me

they will still smell it if you eat it before security- but would they pull anything if the dogs show signs but the search comes up with nothing?

dogs in airports don't sniff for drugs, they sniff for explosives.

don't take my word for it but you wouldn't get caught by dogs. if dogs sniffed out your brownies and tried to get at them, act pissed off and tell the handler to get his dog out of your food. and he will probably just assume the dog smelled normal brownies and wanted to eat them. after all, he is a dog. i don't know why they would have marijuana smelling dogs in an airport. i don't even know why they have them at all, its such a waste of a dog. wait, was that what you were asking?

but yea, a dog could probably smell it in the brownies. their smell is 200x better than me. thats actually true.

oh and, assuming this is true, couldn't you just bring a bag of weed onto a plane in your pocket? no one checks your pockets when you are on a plane, all you have to do is pass through a metal detector (and sometimes that airblower machine). i've never got patted down or searched so i assume it would just be really easy

i would just put it on in your luggage to be totally safe. and you wouldn't eat them on the plane unless its a loooong ass ride. you could eat them before and be set for the whole flight. thats the point of edibles anyway right?

they only use drug dogs on checked luggage. taking weed or edibles on your person is relatively safe i do it all the time. but if ur that much of a bitch just eat it before security and itll probably hit u right when u get to the plane

and if youre really skeptical buy some food at the airport, eat it, put brownie in container and bring it on the plane. pretty sure someone won't call you out for having a brownie in a container that doesn't usually hold brownies. just dont look over at them and say BOOM.

always always keep illegal stuff on your person. if you keep it in a bag, checked or carry on, security already has the right to search it. if you have it on your person they will ask to search you, and you can refuse and leave. when you enter an airport you have given your consent to a search of your property.

make sure to take off all baggy clothing so you don't get patted down, and remove all metal. no one will be suspicious if you arnt looking or acting suspicious ie. don't wear rasta, baggy clothing.

also, whenever you arnt doing anything illegal in an airport, do stuff so that the will pull you aside, pat u down, ask questions etc. it will help you remain calm and know what to expect later on when you do have drugs on you and they know it.

Actually when I went to Australia with my folks we had some apples with us that we left on the plane since we weren't allowed to bring them through the checkpoint. My dad and I were doing something and my mom saw the cute little beagle walk up.. it then proceeded to sniff our carry-ons and it sat down. The lady there had to search are bags and then we told her we had apples.

Apparently some dogs are around for looking for just about anything.
