It doesn't matter.

Sites will still spring up to allow people to illegally download shit.

The government can't stop ALL of the copyright infringing websites out there.

The government/big media industry can try as hard as it wants, but the people will always win.

Soundcloud isn't a site where you can illegally download copyrighted material. Most of the artists on their post up their music by themselves hoping to get exposure. Its different.

oh man yeah you're totally right. the feds shutting down sites that are promoting copyright infringement is a TERRIBLE thing and is TOTALLY like 1984... are you fucking serious you god damned retard? i enjoy DL shit all the time but its illegal and to think nothing is going to be done about it, or nothing should be done about it, makes you look like a stupid ass. to think that this will lead to gov. censorship on the levels of China makes you not only a stupid ass, but one that wears tinfoil hats for protection. just like everything else that's happened in the past decade that's gotten kids all up in arms, nothing is going to change in your lives.
