Replying to Loveland vs. A-Basin

Had this in regionals and didn't get a view in a half hour, so I figured I'd try here....I'm looking for a cheap trip out west December 19th-22nd, and have it narrowed down to A-Basin and Loveland.  I've been to A-Basin, but not Loveland.  I was wondering how the tree skiing is at Loveland compared to A-Basin.  I know A-Basins tree cover is pretty sparse.  Also, who has the better park.  Thanks, and any further input is welcome and encouraged.
