Broken MBP screen

basically my cat just knocked my mac book pro off of my bed and it landed on the lid which snapped shut and cracked the screen up pretty bad. its still usable but the cracks suck and i was wondering if there was anywhere i could get the screen replaced and how much it would be. i live in the vancouver area

same thing happened to me two summers ago. I found a new screen on ebay and had I guy locally install it for me. it came out to around $500 total. Just make sure you talk to a professional about exactly what screen to look for so you don't end up with the wrong one.

apparently 700-1000$ gets it fixed. they dont just replace the screen they replace the whole lid regardless.
