Making moonshine is not illegal. Selling what you make is illegal. Unless you're a distillery and have the correct licenses to sell it to liquor stores.

I drank moonshine in the himalayas a couple times and it was ok. I was expecting really strong beer but it was more like weak vodka. Theirs was brewed out of rice though so I dunno what you are gonna make yours out of. I didn't go blind. It wasn't anywhere near as good as beer either. If it were me I'd just buy some PBR and be done with it, not really worth it IMO.

They made some alcoholic shit out of fermented millet that was straight ballin though, so delicious and tasted good hot or cold.

Just made myself some "homemade wine"... messed it up tho to stoned when making it and now it just taste like alcoholic syrup (to much sugar was added)
but we are making some popcicles and slushes with it so it turned out good in the end

Go for it. MY buddy made moonshine at his farm last summer. You dont need to worry about going blind or anything like that if youre careful. You just wanna make sure you make enthenol instead of methenol. If you make sugar or wheat mashes then youll make zero to very little methenol (which makes you go blind and shit). All you gotta do when you make these mashes is to distill the first few ML then throw it out since methanol boils off first, then youll be good.

Making moonshine is easy and pretty safe as long as you use sugar and wheat mashes. I'm gonna make an attempt this summer.

Never made it. Fucking wicked stuff. Drank it at some fall festivals before at night when it was cold. Fucking fire. One batch was called rebel yell. You had to let out a scream after you took a big swig. If it sounded like a wasted party , or somebody getting raped, that's where the moonshine was.

20 bucks a jug, almost brought some back the last time. Only problem is i stay the fuck away from it.

Make it from grapes. Home made grappa is the shit. It gives you the wine drunk and has way more alcohol. And who cares if it is illegal. If your not selling it and it is for personel use your probably fine. It's like growing pot. If your caught with two plants you can argue personel use, If your caught with over 2 plants (per person I think) its trafficing and your fucked.

yes, the only time i have ever had moonshine it tasted like fire. it literally felt like something hot was in your mouth and throat and it was fucking awesome. someone was telling me thats how all moonshine should taste. they might have been insane, who knows. but if you make moonshine, do whatever you need to do to it to get that fire taste.

you won't go blind, people went blind off of homemade liquor back in the day because of the bacteria present in the distilling product due to unhygienic practices...hence "bathtub gin"

my dad made has been  making schnapps for a while now. i remeber walking into the kitchen saturday morning to my dad fiddling with his ghetto ass distiller and him asking me to help him....he takes it pretty seriously and apparently its really good schnapps according to everyone who has some, personally i cant stomach it. its so strong.

another reason that OREGON IS THE BEST STATE!!!!!!.

you can home distill,,  its the same as home brewing.. you can make up to 200 gallons a year a person, as long as your not selling it, your in the clear. 

just rembember.. when your boiling the mash to get the booze out, your making vapor , and that shit will blow the fuck up.. my dad had a still in college and it blew the fuck up cause a guy was not paying attention!

have had it a many times in school last yera...personally its a good experience if you want to make it but overall not that good of an idea if you dont know what your are doing. Tho you take like 3 shots of it and your buzzin pretty good shit is strong as hell

the only reason moonshine used to impair your vision is because people used to distill it through a car radiator...coolant used to get mixed in with the moonshine and fuck with people's vision. If you do it safely with modern techniques you'll be fine.
