fucking epic. snow was very good (will be a little tracked out tomorrow, but still good), nice and light. the groomers off hood express will be wrecked, those saw a lot of action and the underlying stuff will be more exposed now. everything else though was in really good condition, off the groomers there are still a lot of trees, some stumps/logs, and some rocks still poking out so watch where you are headed. very little wind today, but it was cloudy and the death fog rolled in and out all day (i would use a yellow lens if you have one, probably be the same conditions tomorrow), heard a lot of comments from people complaining they couldnt see. well duh, your platinum mirrored lens isnt designed for low light days.
anyways, i was really surprised at the crowd, much much much fewer people than i expected. i was expecting full on armageddon with massive lift lines and packed slopes. the first lift line i jumped in, hood express, did take a little bit (like 15-20 minutes or so), but after that i mainly stuck around shooting star and i never waited in a line more than 5 minutes or so. slopes werent slammed either.
they got the parks set up pretty well right now, the zoo has several boxes, and the shipyard has a lot of features to jib.
awesome day all around, i really wish i didnt have to work tomorrow so i could go up again.
