all 3 are excellent games, honestly. BC2 is a little more.. realistic i guess, harder to use the guns, actually have to lead people form far away (with snipers and stuff, plus bullets actually drop over distance), houses blow up and shit, very destructible environments.

COD games are all pretty similar, more frantic, high paced action and easier to kill people. why don't you list a couple of things youre looking for so i can tell you which one would suit you more?

So I was a Medal of honour kid on ps1, and since ps2 and my xbox360 i have had COD 1,3 and 4. so im no stranger to COD

I have heard the online on BC2 is much better and alot less noobness on it. but have never played a bad company.

My live is expired and probably wont get it renewed til janruary, so i want the one with the best 1 player story until jan.

I have played mw2 alot round a friends so i know what im getting, but if black ops is better, id rather splash out for something ive never played....

But my old roommate was full on COD now plays bad company 2 and says it's so much better. By the sounds of what you say BC2 is more up my street as i do dislike the unrealisticness of MW2 specially the online play. My favourite COD game for online was COD 3. before the days of noobtubing.

I've played and have them all...If you want a more relaxed game get BC2, if you want a more fast paced game get CoD Black Ops..If you want a bullshit game get MW2.

well first things first- im an online guy so i cant really tell you much about the single player games. ive played the mw2 one though and it was really really sick. anyway

so yeah you know what youre getting with COD. if you go with a COD id go with black ops cause it's new and exciting, and theyve fixed some of the notorious problems (but mw2 is really awesome of course)

but yeah, bf2 is loud and crazy and honestly it feels like youre "there" waay more than COD, especially with destructible environments. youy move a bit clumsier/slower than in cod but it makes it a bit more realistic and harder so it has less of a "sport" feeling than COD if you get what im saying. BF2 is a bit slower, sort of (dont get me wrong though, it's not "slow" by any means) but it's probably more intense

and BF2 is definitely "harder." but nothing's more satisfying than blowing a dude's head off half a mile away when you had to aim a foot above his head and 3 feet to the right because he was running and bullet drop.. very cool

mw2 is very fast paced, whereas black ops is, for the most part, a slower game play style, very similar to COD4. BF2 is fun, very similar in feel to black ops/COD4. The graphics are a tad better, plus the destructive environments is pretty cool.

That being said, id go with black ops, I loved MW2, but it has since taken a backseat to black ops. Plus the wager matches are intense!

I have BC2 and Black Ops, my opinion is that they can't be compared.

Battlefield is more based on doing whats best for your team, maybe die a few times destroying the tank that are wasting your buddies.

Black Ops, and generally Call of Duty has a more shoot 'em up approach.

I like them both, they are both my favorite games.

For singleplayer I would say Battlefield is a bit better. If you have played any Call of Duty game before, especially MW2 you will soon find it repetive. Battlefield has a more diversed interaction but again, the story is a little less intense.

I would recommend you to get both. Just start buy one, play it, then buy the other.

I think Bc2 has a really shit campain and online is fairly bad, MW2's campaign is epic and so is online, but i think people are going to gradually start playing it less and less until it dies like cod4, as for black ops, well the campain has some really awesome shit but wasn't that great all together, but online is as good as ever, and i like the new codpoints system, + you have zombies, so i'd definitely get that!

Yer kinda crossed MW2 off the list cause i have played it alot already.

i have £60 to spend on new games, so about $120

Im just getting 2nd hand ones. Just Cause 2, NFS Shift and one other that cant remember off the top of my head,

Found bad company for £14 ($28) 2nd hand and MW2 was £15
the rest all £10 ($20)

Where as black ops is brand new so will be like £40 meaning ill get less games.

Exchange rate is only guestimate.

MW2 pisses you off when you are constantly noob tubed from the other end of the map, or when you have a guy with marathon/lightweight/commando running mach 5 around the maps and just knifing everyone because you don't eve have time to think to shoot him.

Black Ops has been fun, and is holding my attention still which is great...it's not like it is the end all be all of FPS. It's really fun to play with friends.

Never played bad company games.

Do you enjoy the halo series? Because Reach is a blast and i'll probably go back to it after I've had enough with black ops.

i havent really noticed a difference in graphics between black ops and mw2 but i dont pay attention to that kind of stuff so much

bf2 has very different graphics but they look very very sick. one thing i should mention though- BF2 graphics are fucking awesome but ONLY on an HD tv. on and SD tv they look like shit and you cant see well. COD might look a bit less real but it still looks good on a SD tv, which partly explains why i havent played BF2 in a while cause im about to get a new HDTV but havent yet

Seriously.


The COD series, while fun is based a lot on luck.


But in general:

COD = Lone wolf, luck, cool perks customization wise, ZOMG KD RATIO

Battlefield = Teamwork, skill, not much room for customization but good guns, ZOMG I NEED A BILLION POINTS!  That and bad company is ridiculously hard to level up in.

Black ops is an awesome game. Good guns, better point system, zombies, pretty solid campaign, among other thing. Definetly better then MW2.

I have the most experience on here (beg to differ, pm me) and go with blackops. battlefield isn't nearly as addicting as call of duty games. Starting with MW2 will cause you to take no recoil guns for granted and screw you over for other games. That and the people still left on MW2 already all know what they're doing and will most likely shit on you. Blackops is much more balanced and will be easier to learn on IMO.

bad company 2 my friend.  the 3 golden shooters in the past few years which actually havent spawned bullshit glitches or unbalanced gameplay after the first few weeks of release are

halo reach
bad company 2
cod4

A kill is way more satisfying in this game and everyone actually trys to win as opposed to lone wolfing and just getting as many kills.  Theres also no one gun that overpowers everyone, its all pretty fair.

mw2 online is horrible.  after putting out two horrendous sequels to cod4 (which was awesome),

theres no way im every buying a call of duty ever again unless I know 100% sure that the gameplay doesnt start sucking after the first few weeks

im probably going to get bad company, if i dislike it after a week swap it out for black ops










as for person who comented on graphics, its always nice to have something with decent graphics, unlike tom clancy games (not including splinter cell)

bc2 is the hardest online game i have ever played. Im quite good at mw2 and I get slayed in BC2.

If you want fun and enjoyable go mw2

if you want fun but hard as fuck and way more real go with bc2.
