On the 15th of this month, an unknowing skier triggered a small slide on the coire cas headwall at cairngom mountain.
It's not in my interest to call out a random guy on his bad decision making that day. But just a little note to remember: When it still early in the season, people tend to ignore safety and any avalanche danger lurking in the shallow snowpack. Don’t think because there isn’t much snow on the ground, that you’re going to be safe? The shallow early season snowpack tends to throw people of guard. So this result in numerous close calls and sometimes fatalities related to the above. Watch the video, be safe and have fun.
