its been discussed, and no, noone has done one yet.

It could be a possibility for next season tho. Tudor, Dumont, Margetts and more have all been doing dub cork 9's in the past few seasons, so one or more may pull off the 7 this year. But who knows, i hear triples are the new double.

casabon should try one. since he doesn't do dubs, he should be the first to do a dub cork 7. it seems like something he'd pull off too. that truck driver 7 in muddy winter looked a lot like a dub 7. and it would be kind of like an awesome 'fuck you' to all the guys doing dub 10s

lincoln loop =/= cork 3

this is the vid paused during the middle of the first cork.

in a lincoln loop you get completely inverted, meaning that if you paused it mid lincoln loop he would be totally upside down. you can clearly see that he is not upside down, just sideways / corked.



^and when i said casabon should try them, i take that back.

delorme should, and will be the first person to dub cork 7.

I was actually looking for it last night and can't for the life of me remember what edit it was...ugh...

Stefan Thomas did this about 3 years ago, in the trailer of some utah movie..

I want to believe you, Hornbeck being my favorite skier, this would be amazing. I won't believe it until I see it though... Dub cork 7's may be the coolest things since sliced bread.

I think he's a little too inverted to be considered a cork.  It would be pretty easy to take freeze frame of a lincoln looking like that.

yea i know, i noticed that. i tried to pause it at the absolute most upside down point to try and be the most honest. the second cork is a lot less upside down. and if you did pause a lincoln loop there would probably be a point the looks like this, but it would still probably get more inverted.

he probably goes more inverted because of the hand drag, i'm assuming since the second cork is more of a cork.

a dub cork 7 would be one of those things you have to watch like four times for your brain to make sense of then you would watch it again to make sure it really happened and you weren't imagining things.

both of your points are horribly innacurate, dumont has been one of the top competitive skiers for years and he holds the world record for biggest air out of a quarterpipe so he obviously doesnt suck. secondly dumont doesnt make his outerwear, that would be oakley that does thar. i have trouble believing that you not mentally hanicapped in some way.
