check this out everyone, if you were wondering what the ski on tudors FB profile was.


looked around a bit so i hope its not a repost. seems like a sick ski, especially with the absence of edges in the tip.

It is tail soft, and stiffer underfoot and in the tip than the jj

Any idea how much these will cost? Very  interested in picking up a pair. They seem like very well thought out skis. Hopefully they arent noodles.

Thread on TGR says that they are available in some places already, but most likely in a limited quantity. They probably won't be mass produced until next season. Shame, as I'm currently in the market for a pair of fat sticks, and I have to say that these look very nice!

Maybe I'll wait... :)

Those look sick, hopefully the no edge and the "honey comb" tips don't turn into the new edge armor problem though.

They are pretty cool, I have just got mine. They retail at $975 but most places that have them are selling them for $850 candaian that is. They are about as soft as a JJ in the tail but softer then a JJ in the tip. They are not quite symetrical but will ski really well switch. The rocker is fairly short in the Tail but as there so soft they will float really well. There best center mounted thats what Im going for. Only in 184 length this year but there will be a full size range next season.

rocker 2 does look dope though, it's about time salomon released a ski in this category.

i read on one of the pages introducing them said for canada there would be like 17 pairs released in whistler because of mike douglas or something but thats all i know, and i already saw a video of someone skiing on the version they are selling this year but they will sell full stream next year

They're pretty fucking sick, 122 underfoot I believe. Rocker and kind of soft in the tip and tail, camber and stiffer underfoot. I've had my hands on a pair and they're nice and light too. To say I want a pair is an understatement, I will definitely get a pair next season.

these were on display in the salomon store in whistler and i saw some guy on rentals at whistler also. it looks like a sick ski. it is a pretty stiff flex underfoot and rly light. also on display salomon had some weird ass racing ski or somethin called the bbx or sometin idk. ther both released for sale next year tho. (2012)

Its called the BBR. Its a new allmountain ski for next season. Shaped by a guy who made the surf boards while salomon used to make boards. It has a super wide tip, 140 if I remeber and is rockered in the tip. Its 89mm under foot and about 110 in the tail. Its designed as a bit of a pin tail so the tail will sink but the tip will float massivly as its so wide. Should be fun to ski on.

Only one pair of Rocker 2's left now. First come first surved.

I just got my salomon Rocker 2!
Superstoked, and a kinda stiff BC jib ski! I have mounted em "DEAD CENTER" and it floats OK in low speed, and the landings from cliff drops is FANTASTIC, the same on BC-Kickers! Supersmooth switch as well.

But notice this, the ski is a bit stiff, but for you guys that like stiff skis, you know what to chose!
