Solly s912 ti riser plates?

It looks to me like I have some riser plates on my s912s. I took off the back ones easily. but the front ones seem pretty stubborn, as if they are attached to the white traction pad thingy. the tech at my local shop says they are attached on, and obviously I cant just take off the back ones and make it lopsisded, so my question is, has anyone taken off the piece that looks like a riser plate in the front?
Sparknotes: Heel risers come off, front ones dont. are they supposed to come off?

chances are if your tech says they cant come off, then they cant.
nothing will come of the riser plates being no though, only faster edge transfer and more leverage.

Throw up a picture so we can make sure we are on the same page, I have those bindings on a pair of junker skis.

Hmmm, doesn't look like those are going anywhere. Mine are without that riser but I don't see anything that suggest it can be removed.

^ word, even if they can be removed there would be no mounting points.
just keep em on, nothing significant will come of them being on
