Phil Casabon has much better style

Not hating on B-dog, but a double-gold at the x games, two new tricks in the big air, and triples in "the way i see it" deserves the win. not to mention that he is, what? 19 years old? Casabon is sick too tho

I'm not hating on bobby at all, he's really fucking good, and definitely deserves praise for what he's done. But B-dog is by far the most creative and progressive skier out right now, and its dissapointing that he didn't win, but this isn't the point of this thread...

Bobby progresed the sport in a whole different way back to back dubs switch dub 12 and a triple.

Just go watch his dub 10 in the way i see it and youl see he was doing that mute tweak that won the monster big air last week monthes before 2.

I have to disagree here sure bobby progressed the sport a little with his triple, but not really it was always going that way we all knew it was just a matter of time before someone threw a triple, casabon on the other hand does tricks that no one has thought of before which to me is far more progressive then bobby brown just doing another flip. With that being said no hate on Bobby obviously one of the best comp skiers and he has an insane ammount of technical tricks including both dubs 10s i believe which i give more props then his triple.

Or why did Jon snub him from the top 3 years back at the event he and simon ran at breck?  I remembered watching the top results and while he did place 4th- I thought he should have probably had a shot at first and he would have blown up earlier than he did.  I just remember doubles we slowly edging their way into the sport and in Bobby's runs he mixed in a few different doubles that all looked pretty good- along with the run in total.

No matter though.  Jon has contributed so much to the sport that his word is usually pretty accurate.  It's hard to hate on a guy who busts his ass 24/7 it seems at the sport he loves.

it was skier of the year, not favorite skier...i love casabon, but as other people said, you can't deny that bobby probably had a better year with great comp results, solid footage, and the triple

who gives a flying fuck about triples bullshit i dont know a single person that wants to flip 3 times in the air for fun...yeah its hard but its not that cool to watch...like b-dog said there are plenty more tricks people should be doing in a slopestyle run before even thinking about doing dubs (or trips for that matter).
