You only have a leg to stand on if you can prove the tree was in anyway weakened or not maintained correctly (pruning etc.... plays a big part in whether or not the fucker comes down when you blow on it.
If the tree was diseased or dead for example, and therefore weakened, then you may have a case.... if it was fine, and it was just a helluva wind storm, the apt complex won't be able to do fuck all..... getting money out of apt complex management companies is like getting blood out of a stone, there contracts with you are written tighter then a nuns "C U Next Tuesday"

I fail to see how owning a 15 year old M3 worth less than 10 grand qualifies someone as being rich. Sure you can be jealous of wealthy people that have everything given to them, but when they worked hard for it and you complain it looks douchlike no offense. This car probably meant a lot to him, even if it is an auto. I know if I had an M3 I would be devastated.
On another note, I hate how the U.S. e36 M3 had the weaker non Euro S52 or whatever. Didn't Canada get the Euro Version? My dad considered buying the LTW version in 95, he's slapping himself now for not, worth mad $$$ now. Like someone said above, deff put the motor in the E30 and for god's sake get a 5spd at least.
