Boot problem

so i bought boots online without checking the size or anything (very very stupid, i know. and i realize most of the comments are going to be about that) i tried them on and theyre a little too big. my friend got the same exact boots in the same size not too long ago from a shop so im wondering if i could take his receipt to exchange my boots for a different size. would they check the serial number or anything? thanks

prolly the worst that will happen is they say no..

but yes boots online = dumb if you dont know exactly what you need haha.

just return the boots to the online store, get your money back and then start the whole process like you should have in the beginning by going to the shop....
