Boot Sizes?

Hey, so I went to a bootfitter recently, and found the perfect boot for me.

Here's the deal.

He set me up perfectly in a 26 and said if i wanted i could go a size down, but the boot was already really firm on my foot, and perfect.

So here's the question...

How different is a 25.5 boot to a 26? Would i fit into a 25.5?

typically, there is 1 shell size for two boot sizes. SO a 25, and a 25.5 boot would have the same size shell . and a 26 and 26.5 would have the same size shell. So there will def. be a difference in size

probably.. im a 27.5 but i wear a 27 full tilt. ask what size the shell is because for instance i tried on a 28 and they felt like clown shoes because 28 shell goes up much higher than just 28. if they are too tight a half size can be dealt with like the molding will give you some more room in the toe box and if that doesnt do it they can shave the foot bed some usually giving you around a half size too.

evil chris is right.

every shell has 2 sizes, and in most cases the only thing changing between 26 and 26.5 is the footbed in the boot. in some cases nothing changes at all except for the sticker on the outside of the boot.

the dalbello krypton intuition liners do change on the half size, they are one of the only boots that have whole and half size liners.

gotta remember that a boot will pack out to about 20% larger than what they feel right now. Go back to the shop and spend a good 15-20 minutes in them, and after a while of flexing and walking around in them, they should feel a little looser than when you first tryed them on. do this with both boots and determine which you like best, and if the 26 is letting you wiggle your toes and move your heel in a small amount, it may be good to go smaller because again, it will only pack out to feel bigger.

like they say as well, its a shell size down. so you may be fitting into a 306 bsl, and the 25 is most likely a 298ish bsl. big difference there. so your best bet is to put each size on both feet and compare (provided you have same size feet)

ok the best way to tall is to pull that liner out and see how much room you have with your toes forward. You should have about 2 fingers.
