I didn't so much mean arena rock as in, this band played in arenas. I meant arena rock more in terms of a musical style, such as Boston and Rush. I also wasn't trying to be a prick. Rush is a great band, don't get me wrong, but I see too many other bands that deserve the spot more than them.

A lot of good picks so far but I can't believe nobody has said Elvis. He is rock and roll and all those bands that have been repeated in this thread like the beatles, stones, and zepplin drew from him like crazy.
