I bought a red Mardi Gras necklace yesterday at the toy store. It is my new fashion statement. They're so tacky, but so pretty! That is all I have to say.

i got mardi gras beads when i went to disneyland...its funny cuz in new orleans the tradition is to flash someone and then they give u the beads...like i did last june when i went...but when we were in disneyland they were like 'um no...keep your shirts on...theres little kids around' and just gave em to us

Yeah, it passed. We celebrate all weekend long!! It's the best!!! lol I had sooo many bead chains!!! They got sap on them when they were part of the whore shrine, so I had to throw them out though... :( Oh well, I'll get more next year!!!

Mardi Gras is in Feb. but if you want to go to a real party go to Rio. You don't even need beads to see boobies there. I'm talking out of my ass, because I've never been, but I heard it's the greatest party ever, and it's non stop for a week. You'll be lucky if you get 8 hours sleep all week.

Haha just to add to what jay said, I thikn its called samba(sp?) its this huge ass party htey have ever year there. Its so nuts. Never been, but heard soem stories and will definately have to check that out at some point :)
