Best WMiller films?

Being new-er to the planet, I have only been seeing Warren Miller films annually for the last 3 years. I know WM himself used to narrate them, and I was just wondering what the best warren-miller-narrated WME films were?

The best ones are certainly the older ones. 70s were pretty wild, 90s have tons of gaper action.


Playground, the 2007 movie was quite allright, though.

Yup, just a good combination of backcountry, freeriding, park and crazy stuff like cliff jumping and BASE, the Skicross part, the Ski Dubai freaks, the Bode Miller episode, the Burton Smalls...

All in all, everything what I expect from a Warren Miller movie: Covering all aspects of skiing, not just trends. And, most of all, prodivind a story! I hate how most films nowadays have so much potential for narration but don't do it.

i love the ones from around 2000. theyre on from time to time on movie channels. i always like how they went to really random out of the way places like morocco and russia and met all these local people who were just happy to have a few inches of snow. thats what i love about the older films

ha, i remember the first ski movie i ever saw was slamina, and it was before i knew what twintips were. i so completely didn't understand what was happening and thought henrik harlaut wanted to come through the tv and rape me.
