i thought it was just kazaa but the government doesnt have to do much anymore cause almost every file now has a trojan or another kinda virus.

not the government. if anyone would spam with corrupted files it would be the record companies. sometimes before the release of big cds or games the companies will spam with tons of fake files so its impossible to find the real one. just to make people give up and go buy the real version

asac, id check up your sources on that.. cause im pretty sure that unless they changed the whole cd format and cd players that read it, its not really possible, or really easy to get around.. cause if u can play it, u can make it an mp3..

and its RIAA thats putting up the corrupt files.. try using bittorent, it dosnt have the selection yet, but its getting bigger.

i did a report for school on kazaa, the music industry's problems do not stem from file-sharing, its because people would rather not even own any music than pay for expensive cds according to statistics.

But I hate paying for it, and I hate that scrambler thing. If u keep downloading eventually u get the right one.

i'm positive cd's have scramblers on them. i've tryed to take cds and put them on my computer and they've been scrambled. when you put cd's on windows media player its unscrambled but if you try to put them in kazaa or something the scrambler gets activated.

there si a whole company that does it. I forget teh name, but I read an article on them. that is what they do, pollute teh file sharing networks with the scrambeled songs.
