I saw a shot of him talking to Bobby in the MSP movie at the jump session. Does anyone know if he was hitting it as well? Possibly for his next movie?

i watched the alyeska jump travis hit it twice and john jackson hit a few times too but they didn't like the jump and didn't really session it.  Travis did a straight air and a 3 that was it

You thinking of Torstein Horgmo? I'm almost positive his triple looks "triple backflip to late 180"ish.

Please everyone don't jump on this statement and start that whole debate again....just saying...

yeah that one. he sort of stumbles down a few feet after landing but i guess in my head i thought whatever that was gnarly, COUNT IT

also i dont think horgmo's was just a triple back 180.. haha

Of course it isn't, but the angle and the axis of rotation does make it look very much like a triple backflip to late 180. Personally, I had to watch it several times, and carefully, before the rotation was clear. I wasn't hating on what he did if that's how it came across, I just thought of Horgmo's when I saw Bob's.

definitely not trying to diminish the accomplishment, you know? I loved that segment and I was pumped when I saw him keep looking over his shoulder when his feet got back under him after two.

Just saying....I don't think Travis would think it "counted", ya dig?

Travis wasn't there for the first night when BB threw the triple. He and JJ showed up for the second night when the skiers focused on switch tricks (which they didn't do the first night because they didn't have time to salt the in-run). Travis ended up slamming pretty hard and called it quits after just a couple of jumps. Since the skiers already knew the jump, the heli got in the air right away and because of that Jackson tried throwing down his most techy tricks before really dialing it in. He slammed his head really hard and had to sit out and watch, too.
