Digital Camera Help...!

What is good camera that i can get really inexpensivly. or should i go with a digital video camera. I want to go digital so i can upload stuff right onto my comp. i dont need anything to complicated. Thanks alot for your help. Any suggestions are helpful, im just getting into photography.

Anything in the Canon ZR line is a good entry level digital video camera

i got a ZR40 not too long ago and i get a hardon everytime i look at it and use it, its sooo nice and cheaper than some hi8 cameras.

if ur talking about digital still cameras, look into some of Canon's, or my favorite is the Nikon coolpix 775, im getting that this summer

i have a low end JVC miniDV camera, it's really sweet and the image quality is quite good. JVC's are nice cuz they come with built in lights and stuff like that.
