Replying to leukemia
i apologize if this doesnt make sense...its a jumble, like my mind:
as you all may have presumed, someone i know has leukemia. but i'm not supposed to know yet. today i was coming home from a baseball game with my dad and uncle, and my uncle asked how my grandpa was doing. dad said he was ok, but his platelets are down and they cant figure out why and he may have to get a transfusion when they do figure out. the immediate first thing that popped into my head was ''cancer'' of course. but i didnt think about it then. when we got home, my mom said to my dad, ''i need to talk to you'' so they went off and talked, and when they came out, my dad said, 'we're going to your grandparents' so immediately i think, something is wrong, my grandpa is really really sick and they just arent telling me. then i got online and my cousin im'ed me saying 'why aren't you here?' as in, at her house. i asked why should i be, and she said the whole family was there. and she said, must be an adult thing cos my other cousins weren't there and they ordered pizza and were in the basement. and i told her what my parents said...then she paused and said, ' oh God, it all makes sense now' she said that anna, the foreign exchange student staying with her family, said that she hear he had leukemia, and she just said,''nah'' and forgot about it. but once we reason it out, we realized its true. so now...i just sit. i dunno what to say, what to do..my heart hurts so much. just anything anyone knows about this would help so much
-i ski hard and drink harder-
peace...in the middle east, what...
