Replying to How much does that angle of your drop-in matter?

I'm in the process of building my drop in right now. It's gonna be 8 ft tall (im building a platform in a tree, if it turns out how i want it to its gonna be sick). I was wondering what the angle for the roll-in should be. im talking about the part right after the platform, that you first drop in on to. I'm thinking that 45 degrees is good but im afraid that thats gonna be too steep and its not gonna be hittable. On the other hand, I dont want it to be super shallow and not be able to get speed. Any tips from someone whos already built one?
