1st resort in michigan open....SKI BRULE

They opened friday and are open this weekend, i really want to go, too bad they are way up in the U.P. and im stuck here in GR! if anyone has gone or is going let me know how it is.

it opened on the 6th...i heard it was fun. people set up some boxes as usual and there was celebration.

ya they had the bunny hill open with some boxes i saw a vid but lifts ran on friday

Yeah lifts ran last saturday as well and it was free. There were a good amount of people and it was a lot of fun for only having one short run.

sounds like alot of fun, cabby (caberfae) is supposed to be making snow now, or very soon cuz thier "Determined to be open for the thanksgiving weekend." quote on quote from the news. Not the best but ill definently make the short drive.

nice!. IMO cab. is only fun when everything is open and there is lots of snow in the trees, i always go off the irishman back to the old part of the resort to get some untouched MI pow haha or off the back of the south peak (i think, what ever peak is the one with  the tripple lift and mostly "blacks") both are fun. If you havent checked them out you should def. do  it sometime this season!

caberfae was my best choice for the last several years at ferris state. dirt cheap lift tickets and also decently close.
