Afterbang vs. Ar6

So, pros, cons, put um here. I'm looking at Which one to get. I'm 5.8 so what size to? Thanks and post up!

If you want a good answer you are going to need to provide more details about what you are planning on riding (jumps, rails, etc) and also your weight.
Havnt skied either, but the gist of them seem to be
Afterbangs- soft jib ski not to good for jumps(at least over 30ft)
Ar6- stiffer, good for jumps, still fun on rails

Once again I havnt used either, but that is what i have heard.

Pros: buttery, sick graphics
Cons: bad durability

AR6

Pros: durable, poppy
Cons: shitty graphics

coming from an owner of both skis.. go with armada. Faster, better durability, good flex to them, sick graphics ( i dont know what that guy is talking about) and all around a better all mountain ski..
Afterbangs: sllloow base, good rail ski, bad jump ski.

thanks guys, im looking for a fun playful ski that lets me shred alot. i weight 130 pounds and i am 5.8 any ideas for length? i want to ski park and hit up the whole mountain. tell me what u think.

i love my ar6's.  lots of pop, great in the park and good for all mt EC skiing

A-bangs are noodles compared to ar6's. so If you like a more flexible ski go with the a-bang.

my AR6s are the best park skis I could ever ask for. although i question the durability everyone always talks about. Mine rockered in one season (and I definitely take care of my equipment.)

I can say that I DON'T regret getting afterbangs. It is a great rail ski, pretty buttery, and holds up on jumps up to 40 feet. Also I have had great durability with my afterbangs.

I have also heard great things about the ar6.

It just comes down to wether you ski rails or jumps more. THe ar6 is going to be stiffer and sick for jumps, while the afterbang is poppy and buttery for rails. This being said, both skis can ski rails and jumps.

how much lighter are ar6s compared to abangs? and how nice is the swingweight gona be on ar6s when mounted dead center compared to abangs? the abangs symetric swingweight was really nice
