Helmet Glue

Did some searching and couldn't find anything on the topic.

The shell on my helmet is loose on the foam part.  The glue from the factory has failed.  Its not too big a deal, just a pain in the ass.  Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what kind of glue did you use to fix it?  Thanks

This has happend to my ski helmet and bike helmet. I used construction grade caulking and it never moved. But just a glue gun from the doller store would work.

What kind of helmet is it?
That happened about to my Smith Hustle about a month after I bought it, I was able to use it for the rest of the season. I then sent it away and they warrantied it.
Just check in before you do anything that'd void warranty.
Some glues out that can eat away at the helmet foam.

warrantee it. Your safety is the important thing here, and as mentioned above, glues can eat through the foam or the shell potentially, compromising the safety of the helmet.

I use hot glue and it seems to be doing the job.  Btw, It is a k2 rant from like 2007, so I highly doubt its under warranty.

hot glue is probably gonna be the safest (other glues might contain solvents that will be quite corrosive for the rest of the material ...

my foam separated from my skate helmet and I used hot glue to glue the foam back.
