Haha I swear I'm the only person who actually likes Black Ops better than MW2.  I like being able to move outside of buildings without 3 harriers and an AC-130 raining down on me and now that I've played it for more than a day I know the maps better and really like most of them.  I also like how the kill streaks don't add to your kill streaks so you actually have to use your gun, and I haven't run into many noob tube campers yet sooo....yeah.

i feel exactly the same. only problem is the SPAWNING, its horrible. especially on nuketown, you spawn five fight from your enemy sometimes! its ridiculous

if i had done no homework and slept 6 hours each night since it came out based on my schedule i'd only be at like level 40 by now. i don't know how you have so much time to play but it's sad.

are levels 55 or 70?

as of this past mornimg there was a kid in my school who was ranked 49 and had played 23 hours of the 48 the game was out, and he had been in school wednesday

you prestige at 50 now. but in comparison to mw2, its takes as long to get to 50 as it does to 65 in mw2. the firtst 25-30  levels go real easy. its the last 10 that take so fucking long.

i dunno, I'm at 44 right now and averaging like 10k a game from ground war. usually 2k-3k score, 3k+ match bonus and anywhere from 5k-15k challenges. This game has A LOT of challenges if you get a lot of kills

agreed, they should fix it.

ive never seen 2 teams keep sides for more than a minute, it just keeps spawning people all over the place. i dont like it

There is a invisible spawn line....


Do people not understand this? On every map in the history of call of duty games you have a invisible line across the map that even if one person from your team crosses it, it will change the spawn of the other team thus making them potentially spawn really close to your team.


This is why I play with all my buddies because we seriously have no problem with the wacked up spawning we control our half of the map.

I believe they made it switch so much quicker because with MW2 there was such a big issue of spawn trapping, so now in Black Ops when one person goes over the invisible line in the map they just start respawning some where else.

well overall you get a lot fewer kills in black ops than mw2

i averaged around 30 kills in domination in mw2, now i average like 20 kills

i feel like it'd be hard to get 50 kills a game like you could do in mw2 just because you can't kill 3 enemies in one burst

I'm not sure if it's actually 50,000 to prestige, but I noticed that it said you need 50,000 to access the prestige lobby and leaderboards, so maybe?  You shouldn't have any problem getting 50,000 cp by the time you get to level 50.  I'm a level 35 or something and have over 65,000.  I'm still not sure whether I want to prestige in this game though. I finally unlocked two pro perks and some decently tough challenges and I don't want to have to redo everything.  Decisions, decisions...

I've had a dozen or so games with 50+ kills, I usually run UAV chopper gunner and dogs and it rapes. Kill streaks are easier to get in this game IMO because the guns take a lot more skill and theres very few enemy kill streaks that kill you.

I mean yeah it's harder to get 11 kills with a gun than 11 kills with kill streaks but good players will almost always win battles

nahh, but when you do prestige you lose everything, cash, weapons,kill streaks etc.. So buy everything and screw around w/ your money before you prestige bro.

and lag... I takes me 5-15 minutes to get into a match sometimes.. then the match ends up lag killing/rage quitting kids.
