I noticed that. I voted for dane because he is an superior well rounded skier. It went through my mind that since it was dane vs. wallisch that kids would automatically vote for wallisch. Don't get me wrong, wallisch is an phenomenal skier and a very nice dude to meet, But I thought dane should of made it.

I voted for Wallisch strictly because a) I'm not fond of watching big mountain lines, so that didn't matter to me b) Wallisch's air sense is unbelievable and there are only a few others that I enjoy watching as much as him. Kind of funny that in 2007 I thought that this kid needed to learn to jump better instead of just acing rails if he wants to get known.

Everything is completely right here. Benchetler did not have a standout season this year. He did nothing "remarkable". Dumont had one of his best segments in Revolver since High Five/TBC and he was seen and heard. To top it off, there are really not as many Dumont haters out there as one might think. Simple as that, Watson.

Good point. Wallisch does really good air sense. I do enjoy watching him ski and I enjoy his film parts as well. Dane just slays anything you throw at him and I think he should of won. But wallisch in round 2 is always a great thing. Good to see him blow up. Its cool how whenever you watched old 4bi9 and roundtop rider edits, you would have never thought that wallisch would blow up like he has now.

I have to disagree. Benchetler didn't get the play of Dumont, but his shots in the latest En Route were far superior. Chris's backcountry skills are much more impressive to me than Dumont's. Just because someone doesn't get the exposure or hype doesn't mean they aren't better. Not knockin' just my two cents.

I can't believe t-wall beat dane by 70%. I know its t-wall but dane tudor is so good! his EDIAS was one of my favourite movie segments ever.

Durtschi didn't beat jossi? I would of sworn that his dub 10 over one of the most notorious gaps in freeskiing would of made him a winner. Good for jossi, though. His segment in revolver was damn good.

Ive seen them for sure. Really sick shit. His switch dub 14 in the pipe was a first of its kind, wasn't it? Durtschin did take a really nasty spill in the season which put him out for half of the season. Then he came back and slayed the beast known as chads gap while still semi injured.

Why don't they do some sort of IP tracker thing so it lets you vote once per round and only once. Everybody knows that everyone is using 3 different emails to vote.

I for one haven't seen Pettit ski since...what, WSKI106? If this competition were legit, it would list best tricks (tech/style), competition results, have clips and photos of the skiers to help us make up our minds. It's not like I'm going to go hunt down some footage just to know who to vote for here, so Sammy it is.

I can see why sammy beat seth. Most the people voting are younger and probably know more about sammy. and to be honest, I never cared for seth's ozzy-esque style. Not to say he's not an amazing skier and deserves everything he has/has done.
