You really never know how it may affect someone. I know it sounds cliche, but it really can save a life. Last night, a freshman at my school took his own life. He was one of my sisters best friends, and i had seen him with her many times. Although its not 100 percent certain, it's been said by alot of his closest that he had been bullied for a while, and that was the reason he did it. It really is ridiculous. I honestly don't understand how somebody can be so careless about another person that they could treat someone so poorly. I know for a fact that for no reason, a person went up to him a few days ago and just punched him in the face. It really is terrible, i just don't understand people.
I hate sad threads like this, and it seriously angers me that stuff like this even happens, but I really want to spread some sort of awareness. Please NS, just think before you say something mean to someone. The old saying "if you don't have to say anything nice, don't say anything at all" goes a long way, no matter how childish it sounds. You never know how what your saying actually affects the person your speaking too, and being friendly may just save a life.
