Hot Dogger - Active boot board, True #6 Flex
Classic - Rigid boot board, and what I like to call a "#7" Flex tongue...it's a #6 except in the middle (where it curves at the instep) it's a #8.
Really, there isn't much difference at all except the boot board and colors.

you should be able to get that all done when you get your boots fitted and molded. just ask the bootfitter about it

You can't get custom boot boards to my knowledge, but you can get custom foot beds, which don't replace your boot board, you either put in your liner or under your liner (on top of the boot board). A lot of shops do custom foot beds, or you could order a kit to do it (I don't know of any on off the top of my head).
