My friend Laura passed away a few weeks ago, a couple days later her facebook disappeared. taken down by facebook themselves I assume.

i'm not sure facebook would take it down themselves, i mean wouldnt someone have to tell them a death occurred?

anyway my friend died a couple years ago, his facebook is still up so people can write stuff on it

what happens after you die on facebook.

Apparently your friends can fill out a form and claim you deceased... you get removed from the search functions and your wall stays open to family and friends so people can still post on it...
